SUNTUF® polycarbonate is a lightweight, impact resistant & easy to install profiled roofing sheet. With built-in UV protection, the panel and everything underneath it is protected from the sun. Suitable for a range of applications including architectural, industrial, agricultural, residential & DIY.

The Suntuf Solarsmart Greca - 810mm profiled polycarbonate sheets are made from the superior roofing material and got outstanding physical properties. These polycarbonate sheets are available in three different profiles - corrugated, greca, 5-rib and three different styles – Standard Range, Solar Smart Range and Solar Smart Selective Range. The main difference between the Standard & Solar Smart range is that that standard range sheets are cost-effective whereas the SolarSmart sheets reflect more heat reflection which makes this range cooler.

 Polycarbonate Sheets – Things to note:

• The polycarbonate sheets tend to expand and contract depending upon the changing weather. Therefore it is recommended to create the oversize hole for the screw and not to over tighten the screws in installation.  
• As per simple rule of thumb seven screws required per lineal meter of sheeting.
• The sheeting should always be installed the correct way up as this is the side of the sheet with a protective UV layer.
• Instead of silicones try using flashing as an option for polycarbonate sheeting
• Sheets can be cut to length free of cost before dispatch; if you are doing it yourself, fine tooth circular saw can be used.

 Handling & Storage of Polycarbonate Sheets :

• The polycarbonate sheets must be stored on the flat surface in well protected and shaded area out of direct sunlight
• Sheets stacked/stored in the sun will get affected by heat build-up and possible distortion.
• Avoid moisture build up between stored sheets which can cause possible whitening of the sheets
• The products such as chemicals, paint solvents & sealant are incompatible with polycarbonate sheeting
• Sheets may be cleaned with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Hose down thoroughly-ensure all possible safety precautions are taken.
