Accessories

The following accessories are ideal while ordering Laserlite 2000 Polycarbonate Roofing sheet :

• Timber and metal polycarbonate fixings - time saving fixing system saves nstallation time as no pre-drilling is required.
• Eave infill strips - to prevent rain, dust and wind entering eaves
• Noise stop tape - to reduce creaking
• Back channel and infill / Apron flashing - to prevents leaking at walls and fascias
• Barge and ridge capping - barge capping prevents wind and rain entering the gable ends. The ridge capping prevents roof leaking at the apex.

Storage, Handling & Cleaning

Laserlite 2000 Polycarbonate Roofing sheet must be handled, stored and cleaned in accordance with the following instructions:

• Store sheets on a flat surface in a well protected and shaded area, out of direct sunlight. Stacked sheets stored in the sun will cause heat build-up, and possibly distortion, even if covered.

• Prevent Moisture getting between stored sheets as this may cause whitening or discolouration.

• Avoid contact with chemicals, paints, solvents and sealants that are incompatible with Polycarbonate.

• Clean regularly with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or soft brush. Rinse thoroughly.

• Do NOT remove sheets to clean once installed.

• Laserlite® is affected by methylated spirits, benzene, petrol, ketones, acetone, phenols, chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons,petroleum-based paints, abrasive cleaners and solvents. Refer to website for more details.

LASERLITE 2000 has an extensive range of profiled roof sheeting products manufactured for Australian conditions. It’s made from Polycarbonate, a material that is light and tough making it easy to install and uniquely suitable for Australian conditions. Its strength is more than 250 times stronger than glass, this in combination with its ability to block out harmful UV rays (99.9%) makes it an ideal choice wherever a safe and lightweight roofing material is required.

The Polycarbonate range is available in two different styles, each one with a distinct feature :

LASERLITE 2000 3000: For ultimate comfort

The LASERLITE 2000 products are designed to ensure ultimate comfort and safety for outdoor living by minimising glare and protecting from 99.9% of harmful UV rays. LASERLITE 2000 3000 can reduce the sun’s warming effect by up to 69%, making it perfect for hot Australian conditions. 

LASERLITE 2000 3000 provides heat reduction properties and has microscopic aluminium particles throughout the sheet that reflect the warming effect of the suns rays from the sheet whilst still letting light through. LASERLITE 2000 2000 does not have this feature.
